Moncton District Pipe Band Is a Grade 5 Ensemble Promoting Scottish Culture in Moncton, New Brunswick, and Surrounding Communities Since 2002.

Moncton District Pipe Band has promoted Scottish culture in Moncton, New Brunswick, and surrounding communities since 2002. The Grade 5 bagpipe and drum ensemble is registered with the Atlantic Provinces Pipe Band Association (ACPBA).

Community performances

The band performs at regional community events, including Canada Day parades in Miramichi, Remembrance Day services and parades at locations such as the Sunny Brae Legion and Massey Avenue Cenotaph, and Robbie Burns celebrations at local venues including the Pumphouse.

Band piper David McDougall has also performed in the summer and fall concert series “Piper at the Point: An Afternoon of Music Beneath the Pines” at Wilson’s Point.
